Ahhh, the old girl. I brought her home January 24, 2004. I had been lusting after this car for about a year or so, since I saw an artcle in Automobile magazine about this new Audi that's coming our way. Being a huge musclecar fan, I was intrigued by the thought of a 'big' V8 in such a small car. The original photos showed this compact little 4-door with huge wheels that filled the wheel wells. the article talked about the all wheel drive, the 6 speed transmission and 340 horsepower..... I was hooked! Where do I sign?!

 

Before I puchased my car I drove 2 other S4s. Neither felt as strong as the one I finally ended up with. I can remember being told by one dealer after another not to expect more than a thousand off MSRP... Well, I ended up getting mine for three thousand off. The salesman tried to get me to buy what was on his lot (as they all do) but I forced them to pry my car, with the silver alcantara, from a competing dealer.

 

In the almost four years I've had my car there has only been one problem with the car that wasn't driver inflicted, which was a bad steering rack. Outside of that, the car has been downright flawless.
